Our Story

Glasgow Soap Company is a husband and wife business run by Ashley and Sean. Ashley is a former aromatherapist and spa manager who went self-employed after hitting burnout. Sean left dentistry when their first son was born to help care for their growing family. Together, they took a leap of faith — and eight years later, they haven't looked back.

Sean is the methodical, organised half. Ashley is the creative, ideas-everywhere half (her word: messy). Between them, they make it work — and they hope a little of that joy finds its way to you.

About Our Products

Our vegan-friendly soaps are made with vegetable glycerine, making them moisturising and genuinely kind to your skin.

When we started out, we looked around at the handmade soap world and saw a lot of beige. We are not beige people. We wanted colour, personality, and designs that actually make you smile when you unwrap them — so that's exactly what we make.

That clear wrap? It's biodegradable cellophane, not plastic. It keeps moisture in while letting those colourful designs shine through. We use recyclable packaging across our whole range, because sustainability matters to us just as much as the soap inside.
